What counts as an errand?
Anything you do not have time to do, are unable to do, or simply do not want to do. That is the actual test, and it has been the answer since 2016.
The common ones are groceries, the pharmacy, dry cleaning, the post office, and taking a load to a donation center. Less common but just as normal: waiting for a furniture delivery, picking up a part, dropping a car for service, or collecting something the family left behind.
Who uses errand service most
Seasonal residents who need a house stocked before they land, and cleared out before they leave. We can have the refrigerator filled and the mail sorted for the day you arrive.
The other group is people looking after a parent nearby. If you are two states away and someone needs a prescription collected this week, that is a call rather than a flight.
Booked on its own or added to a clean
Errands do not require a cleaning schedule. Book a single run if that is all you need.
Most clients bolt them onto a visit that was already happening, which keeps it to one trip and one arrangement. Tell us the list when you book and we work it into the day.
Where we provide errands
Anything you need, just ask. Because it is not listed here does not mean we will not do it. If we cannot do it, we will find you someone who can.
Errands questions
What errands will you actually run?
Groceries and pantry restocking, prescription collection, dry cleaning, post office trips, online and holiday returns, and donation drop-offs are the regular ones. If what you need is not on that list, ask anyway. Because it is not listed does not mean we will not do it.
Do I need to book cleaning to get errand service?
No. Errands can be booked on their own. Most clients add them to a cleaning visit so it is one trip and one arrangement, but that is a preference rather than a requirement.
Can you run errands while I am out of state?
Yes. This is one of the most common ways seasonal owners and out of state families use us. We can stock a house before you arrive, collect a prescription for a parent, or clear the mail while a property sits empty.
How do you charge for errands?
We quote errand work when you call, based on what the run involves and how far it goes. Call 941-807-6288 and describe the list and we will give you a number before anything is booked.
Can you put the groceries away?
Yes. Tell us where things go the first time and we handle it the same way after that. For seasonal arrivals we usually pair the grocery run with a reopening clean so the house is stocked and ready the day you land.
