Meet the face behind Suncoast Cleaning & Errand Services
A BBA from Georgia, twenty two years running a sports industry business, and two years researching Florida companies before buying this one.
I am Ruth Donahoo, the owner of Suncoast Cleaning & Errand Services. I look forward to sharing my story, and I hope you enjoy getting to know me a little better.
I received a BBA from the University of Georgia in 1986 and went on to become an athletic director at a small private school in Atlanta. In that role I oversaw all the middle and upper school athletics teams and managed over one hundred and thirty five coaches.
I also owned a small business in the sports industry for twenty two years. Those two roles gave me strong communication and organization skills and the confidence to go after a fresh challenge.
How I found this business
After researching businesses all over the state of Florida for two years, I came across a cleaning business that seemed genuinely interesting and a good fit for my personality. I was confident I could make the move into the cleaning industry, and in May of 2018 I bought it from the prior owner.
Since taking it over I have upgraded the website and the social media presence, and I have a driven, dedicated, experienced team to get the work done.
How I want the work done
We are here to clean your home, not just wipe it down. I want your living space spotless while being mindful of the cost. Helping customers simplify and de-stress their lives is the part I enjoy, and seeing a home transformed after a clean is still satisfying.
What sets me apart is honesty and hard work. I put our success down to making sure my employees love their job and the environment they work in.
When I am not at work I like fishing, bike riding, and going to the beach.
